Kinrafter Terms of Use

Effective date: Coming soon (the day Kinrafter launches)

These terms are an agreement between you and NN Software Solutions, Telangana, India ("Kinrafter", "we", "us"). They apply when you install or use the Kinrafter app and website. Please read them with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Kinrafter.

1. What Kinrafter is

Kinrafter is a private place to keep your family's important documents, expiry dates and reminders. It is a storage and reminder tool. It is not legal, financial or tax advice, and it does not check whether a document is genuine, valid or up to date.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account. A parent or guardian may keep a child's documents and photo in their own account as a family member.
• Give accurate details and keep your sign-in methods, Recovery Code and recovery cards safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to your account.

3. Your documents and your content

• Your documents, notes, photos and family details stay yours. We do not claim any ownership of them.
• You give us only the permission we need to store and carry them for you: to save them (encrypted on your phone first), to back them up, to share them with the people you choose, and to delete them when you ask.
• Only add things you are allowed to keep. Do not upload anything unlawful, anyone else's documents without their permission, or material that harms others.
• We cannot read your documents. On the Pro plan they are encrypted on your phone with a key we never hold.

4. Recovery: please read this one

Because we cannot read your documents, we also cannot recover them for you. If you lose all your signed-in devices, your Recovery Code, and your recovery cards, your documents cannot be opened by anyone, including us. Set up recovery when the app asks, and keep your Recovery Code somewhere safe outside your phone.

5. Plans, payment and renewal

• Free: up to 5 documents, kept on your phone only.
• Pro: up to 100 documents saved online, up to 4 family profiles, sharing with up to 3 invited people, and recovery options. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
• Pro is a subscription that renews every year until you cancel. Payment is taken by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iPhone), under their terms.
• To cancel, open the subscription settings in Google Play or the App Store before the renewal date. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund a period already paid for.
• Refunds follow the store's refund policy and the law that applies to you. For a refund, contact the store that charged you.
• If your Pro plan ends, you can still view and export your online documents. You cannot add or change them until you renew. We will tell you in the app before we change how long we keep them.
• We may change prices or plan limits. We will tell you in the app before a change reaches you, and the new price applies from your next renewal.

6. Family sharing

When you share a document, the person you invite gets a read-only copy that is encrypted for them. You choose what to share and you can stop sharing at any time. A copy someone has already saved or downloaded stays with them. You are responsible for who you invite.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse Kinrafter. In particular, do not:

• try to break into, disrupt or overload the service, or test its security without our written permission (see the security contact on our support page);
• use it to store or share unlawful material, or to harass or deceive anyone;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
• use automated tools to create accounts or to access the service.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Kinrafter reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop a feature. If we stop the whole service, we will give you notice and a reasonable time to export your data.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Kinrafter and delete your account at any time from the app (see How to delete your account). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, and we will tell you why where we can.

10. Our responsibility

Kinrafter is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss that comes from losing your Recovery Code and devices, from a document you chose not to renew, or from a reminder that did not arrive (phone settings, battery saver and network can stop alerts). Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be limited, and nothing limits our responsibility for fraud or for harm we cause deliberately.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect and update the date above. If you keep using Kinrafter after that, the new terms apply.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in the city of our registered office have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have to bring a claim where you live.
